Parts of speech

In the morning,we discussed about the kinds of sentences.As a review what are the kinds of sentences? They are the Declarative or Statement,Command or Request, Interrogative Sentence or Question and the Exclamatory sentence.Since you are now familiar with the kinds of sentences,we focus now on the 8 Parts of Speech. The eight parts of speech is also important in studying the English language,so that it is easy for us to express ourselves.   These are the 8 parts of speech: 1.Noun 2.Pronoun 3.Adjective 4.Verb 5.Adverb 6.Conjuction 7.Preposition 8.Interjerction   At this point,we discuss first the noun.    A noun is a name of person,place,things, animals,and events.   For example: Name of Person   1.Mr. Smith   2.  let's have first a review on sentence.We know already that sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete thought.And it has two parts,the subject and the predicate.The subject is the object spoken to in a sentence and the predicate tells about the subject.    For example,in the sentence: My mother is a doctor.    The subject here is "My mother" because she is the object being talked in the sentence and the predicate is" is a doctor" because it tells about the subject.   At this point,since you are already familiar with the sentence,we will discuss the Kinds of sentences   There are four kinds of sentences namely; 1.Declarative or Statement 2.Command or Request 3.Interrogative or Question 4.Exclamatory sentence Let's discuss it one by one.    First is the Declarative or the Statement.A sentence is a declarative or statement if it tells something.It ends with a period (.)and starts with capital letter.    For example: 1.The ...

 Hellow guys! Just  a while ago,I discussed about the sentence.We knew already a sentence .It is a group of words that expresses a complete thought.  I cited some examples. At this time,we talk about the parts of a sentence.   A sentence has two parts: Subject & Predicate What is subject?     1.A subject is the one we talk about in the sentence.It is usually a noun or a pronoun.    2. Predicate is what is said about the subject.It is usually a verb or an adverb. For example:    The  baby is crying. the subject here is "The baby". she is the one we are talking about in the sentence. And the predicate is "is crying" it describes or tells about the baby Let's have another example... The girl is beautiful. The subject here is "The girl".She is the one being spoken to in the sentence.And the predicate is " is beautiful."it completes the sentence.

Demonstrative pronouns

 (Demonstrative pronouns) ضمائر أسماء الإشارة • تقسم ضمائر أسماء الإشارة إلى أربعة أقسام ، وهي :  1- اسم الإشارة للقريب الجمع  2- اسم الإشارة للقريب المفرد  3- اسم الإشارة للبعيد المفرد  4- اسم الإشارة للبعيد الجمع  أولاً :اسم الإشارة للقريب المفرد: إذا كنت تريد أن تشير إلى شخص أو شيء مفرد وهو قريب منك فإنك تستخدم (This) مثل :  هذا كتابي This is my book  هذا أحمد This is Ahmad  نلاحظ من الأمثلة السابقة أن معنى تلك الجمل هو أن كل من أحمد و الكتاب هي أِشياء مفردة قريبة من المتكلم . ثانياً: اسم الإشارة للقريب الجمع:  فعندما تريد أن تشير إلى مجموعة أشخاص أو مجموعة أشياء وكانت قريبة منك فإنك تستخدم الأداة (These) مثل: هؤلاء معلمون These are teachers  هؤلاء طلاب These are students  لاحظ فيما سبق أن كل من المعلمون والطلاب هم اسماء جمع قريبة من المتكلم لذلك استخدمنا (These). ثالثاً : اسم الإشارة للبعيد المفرد:  عندما تريد أن تشير إلى شخص أو شيء مفرد وهو بعيد عنك فإنك تستخدم (That) مثل: ذلك مالك That is Malek  تلك شجرة That is...

Present simple

-Level: beginner -The present tense is the  base form  of the verb: I  work  in London.  - with the third person singular ( she / he / it ), we add an  –s :             She works in London.  - with the third person singular ( she / he / it ), we add an  –es : (if the verb ends in ss-sh-ch-x-o)  She  goes to school five days aweek.    Present simple questions Look at these questions: Do  you  play  the piano? The Kitten and the Caterpillar ة

Katie the kitten liked to play.
